Your Comments on Bosa, Italy
Bosa is a really nice town on the coast of Sardinia. Lots of beaches nearby. It is in a river valley with mountains all around. It is not a big city - it is fairly small but has lots of restaurants and shops. It is also not primarily a resort, so it feels very real. But it is a very relaxing and beautiful place.
Good restaurants are Verde Fiume, La Margherita, Corso 82. There are two good cafes in Piazza Funtana. There is a shop offering excursions and Sardinian Handicrafts called Esedra on the main street. The ice cream is delicious. I recommend trying Cannonau red wine, Malvasia (local - like sherry) and Ichnusa beer. It is best to hire a car if you are going to Bosa, although there are some buses to and from Alghero. But the area is so fantastic you will want a car so you can get around easily.
