Among the countless nightlife options to explore, The Gay Village, based around Canal Street, boasts a brilliant outdoor cafe-bar scene standing under the legacy of the industrial revolution - weather-worn viaducts, massive warehouses and moth-eaten market buildings.
I advise all overseas visitors renting cars to check with their own insurance companies before renting. Especially if they are using insurance coverage provided by their credit card. They need to be familiar how to apply for reimbursement prior to renting. If an accident occurs the renter should be conversant on how to proceed. Quite often the overseas renting offices are not conversant on what to do, even though one mighty have indicated that you are using the credit card insurance, prior to rental. You will have to pay for the damage, on the spot. Most times, claims have to be submitted within a time limit and within defined limits and with defined documentation.
